My favourite thing about Hallowe'en is definitely my son's excitement about it all. He is already counting down the days and we are going, today, to the fabric store to buy the pattern and fabric for his 'scaredy-cat' costume. He awakened me at 6:05 a.m. to see if it was time yet!

My favorite thing about Halloween is the fantasy...you can be anything you want to be! The candy is not bad either, though. I love candy corn.

The little ones coming to the door in their fun costumes and yelling trick or treat is my favorite part of Halloween. This year I'm creating a tunnel filled with spooky things that will lead them up the steps to the front door :>)

My favorite thing about Halloween? How to focus on just one? :) I love the crisp fall nights -- and the sometimes spooky fogs -- that go with the actual Trick or Treat adventures! Dressing up in costumes, gathering my costumed and excited children, venturing out into the somehow spookier than usual dark to go trick-or-treating ... magic! I'd love to get this kit -- making a banner to commemorate those magic memories would be great fun!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing at Halloween is seeing all the little ones so excited that people are filling their bags with candy. I love watching those little eyes follow my hand from the bowl to the bag, priceless! Valerie
ReplyDeleteWe used to decorate in high style when my children were little. Now that they are grown with their own kids, my favorite thing is watching them carry on our theatrically scary but fun traditions in their own neighborhoods.

I just recently started to like Halloween decorations and I'm very fond of the colors Black, White and Cream, so this years theme of the Sweet & Sinister Swap was perfect for me.
